About the Course

Managing performance is central to the relationship between the line manager and the members of their team. Delivering effective performance and development conversations is a key element in developing positive working relationships through good communication that fosters trust, values individuals’ contributions and supports personal growth.

Understand the manager's role in the review process and how the process works,

Have an understanding of, and be able to apply good practice in delivering effective performance and development conversations,

✨ Use a framework for giving both positive and constructive feedback effectively,

✨ Manage difficult conversations and support poor performers,

✨ Use a coaching approach to support colleague's development.
